In the changing world of professional relocation, look to the Southern California Relocation Council for the resources and community you seek!

Back in 1989, when the SCRC first met in Newport Beach, the world of professional relocation offered an entirely different picture. (We hardly had voice mail then, let alone the Internet!) At that time, it was important that we create a community of relocation professionals who could share resources and knowledge, and gain greater, supportive education about our world and the future in commercial relocation.

Now, more than 20 years later, technology around the Southern California Relocation Council has changed, assuredly. We might send our meeting notifications through e-mail, and you can easily register for our fun and educational events in an online environment now but – at the heart of things – we’re the same tight-knit community of professionals in a ever-changing landscape.

We invite you to join us as we continue to share resources and support, and explore new solutions, technological platforms and more efficient ways of doing business in today’s corporate relocation field.

Spring SCRC Meeting - Thursday March, 15 - Old Ranch Country Club, Seal Beach

Topic will be: “Hot Potatoes –Relocation Policy Development and trends for 2012”

  • We are seeing industries hiring again.  94% of Fortune 500 CEO’s in the Kauffman study are looking to hire.  The #1 concern is getting the right talent.  Relocation plays a role in new employee productivity.
  • What are the latest trends for relocation policies both domestic and global for 2012?
  • SCRC is excited to have a panel of experts talk about domestic and global trends in policy development.
  • What is new?
  • What is still important?
  • What is going away?
