About the Wine Pull Event
Goal: Raise funds for SCRC selected charity.
How does it work?
Members and guests donate bottles of wine to the group. They should range in price from a minimum of $15 up to any maximum (Retail pricing should apply).
The wine is divided in to two distinct groups:
- Bottles ranging in price from $15 to $40
- Bottles starting at a $41 price point and going up from there.
A number is placed around the neck of each bottle in each group. A corresponding number is placed in a bowl that reflects each group. Members and guests "buy" a number from one of the groups: $20 tickets for Group 1, $40 tickets for Group 2.
Ticket holders then pull a number from the appropriate bowl to find out which bottle of wine they get to take home (or pay a $15 corkage fee to the venue and drink immediately).
